Come hear the true story
Of how Jesus’ life began.
God sent His only Son
To forgive all our sin.

In a manger did they lay
That little baby boy.
Oh, how the angels sang
Songs of endless joy.

A shining bright star
On a cold winter’s eve
Guided three wise men
To the Prince of Peace.

Faithful was their search
With an offering.
They brought gold, incense, and myrrh
To the newborn King.

My love, what am I supposed to do?
And how am I supposed to feel?
I know you are home with Jesus,
All your pain He has finally healed.

I take comfort in knowing this truth,
That you’re dancing for joy in heaven.
But I can’t escape the sorrow
For I’m without my very best friend.

Death has taken these two hearts
That were one but tried to sever.
But thanks be to Jesus Christ.
We will be together forever.

For now, my love, I’ll carry on
But things will not be the same.
My heart will always skip a beat
When I hear your beautiful name.

I’m thankful for the times we’ve had
And all the memories we made.
But what I’m most thankful of all
Is the love for me you gave.

One day when He calls me home,
I’ll rejoice to see my Savior.
But knowing I’ll again be with you
Is a truth I will always savor.

And proclaiming God’s praise.

Sitting by a mountain stream
On a sunny autumn day.
I see a leaf floating towards me
That trickles into the shade.

I rest my head upon a rock
And look up to the sky.
A breeze sings through the trees –
A choir of an autumn sigh.

I look again at the leaf
Once colorful but has begun to fade.
I remember how it protected me
In the heat of adolescent days.

It’s been so many years
Since that leaf was on the tree.
I wonder where it’s been
And how different life would be

If the leaf was still on the tree
And all the good it could have done.
Would it take some pride
By seeing the man I’ve become?

God, I thank You for this leaf,
But I have often wondered why
This beautiful leaf had to fall
So early in my life?

Yet, once again I find this leaf
Floating down this mountain stream.
I sorrow for the beauty it held
Is slipping from my memory.

God, I pray by Your grace
On my knees before you I bend
That when that day I will see You
I will see this leaf again.

Dreams were never meant to be nightmares.
Tears were only to be of joy.
Songs were to be just for praise –
Not of sorrow from hearts destroyed.

Giving was never to be restricted
Or limited by the cost.
God was to supposed to be in heaven –
Not on earth and nailed to the cross.

But a choice was made in a garden,
And things were never the same.
Thank God that He is faithful,
And He will never change.

For He loves what He creates –
Even when it turns away.
His heart is to redeem
And give hope to all our days.

We blame God for all our suffering
And wonder where He is in the pain.
Yet where is our gratitude
In all our good and gain?

God, will You forgive us?
We have sinned and hurt Your heart.
Please save us from ourselves.
From You we don’t want to be apart.

For Your Word offers the promise
Of a Good Shepherd Who cannot lie.
Who looked at our rejection of Him
Yet, in love, still chose to die,

To pay the price for all our sin
And give hope for all our days.
Thank You for Your redemptive heart.
May our songs be again for praise!

Welcome to My flock, My child.
I have been looking for you.
From your wanderings led by lies,
I will now shepherd you in truth.

I know where you have been.
I know what you have done.
Know that I forgive it all,
And, in Me, your new life has begun.

I will provide your every need,
And I will provide you rest.
I will set you beside still waters,
And I will give you what is best.

This new life I have purchased –
Paid for by the blood of My stripes,
Is full of healing and growth –
And rooted in holiness and light.

The places I will take you
May cause your flesh to quake,
But under My loving protection
Your soul is perfectly safe.

For My love has no end,
And My mercies are new each day.
No enemy will get to you
For I never leave nor forsake.

For now, though, my child,
Allow Me to restore your soul.
Don’t worry about anything else.
In My care, I will make you whole.

So welcome to My flock, My child.
You are forever Mine.
You have a new home with Me
That is yours for all of time.

We find Your goodness
In our children’s eyes.
We find Your victory
In truth over lies.
We find Your peace
In all the chaos.
We find Your love
Nailed on the cross.

We find Your strength
When we are weak.
We find Your provision
In our greatest need.
We find Your light
In our darkest hour.
We find Your hope
In resurrection power.

We praise You, Lord
With hands held high!
In sin’s death grip
You gave us life

By cleansing us
With Jesus’ blood.
We’re overwhelmed
By Your faithful love.

We find Your healing
In all our pain.
We find Your grace
Where none remains.
We find Your mercy
In the toughest times.
We find Your brilliance
In creation’s design.

We find Your joy
As we sing to You.
We find Your glory
With eyes made new.
We find Your kindness
In the help of a friend.
We find Your forgiveness
That has no end.

We praise You, Lord
With hands held high!
In sin’s death grip
You gave us life

By cleansing us
With Jesus’ blood.

By Your faithful love.

I see the Three, there on His throne.
Grieved at our sin and hearts of stone.
Sin must be judged – His Word says so.
Condemn or grace, how will He go?

God so loved the world He made.
By His mercy He chose to save.
He sent His only begotten Son
To pay the price for the sin we’ve done.

Come all ye sinners, come to the cross.
There is a home for all the lost.
We find that place, down on our knees.
We tell the Lord, we do believe.

If we choose to confess His name
We’ll be saved by His grace.

A new creation, we will be.
The old is gone, He set us free.
His Spirit now, dwells in us
To shine His Light on Jesus.

Brothers and sisters in Christ –
We’re a family by choice.

Jesus is the Son of God,
And He came to this world –
Conceived of the Holy Spirit
Born by a virgin girl.

He came to reconcile.
He paid the highest price.
For our sins to be forgiven
He was our sacrifice.

So brothers and sisters
Let’s come in one accord
Shout Jesus is the Savior
And our sovereign Lord!

He is alive today
And intercedes for us
Let us give thanks and praise
To our great King Jesus!

Brothers and sisters in Christ
On this we can agree.
We are all saved by grace
For we chose to believe.

We are new creations –
Old lives are in the past.
Hope is in our future
For God’s promises last.

So let’s come together
And share God’s great love –
Showing mercy and grace
The way He did for us.

So brothers and sisters
Let’s come in one accord –
Shout Jesus is the Savior
And our sovereign Lord!

When we gaze upon the cross,
We see an amazing God
Who looked at what He made
In mercy, love, and grace.

You grieved over all our sin
And didn’t choose to condemn.
Judgment that must be done –
You placed on Your beloved Son.

Magnified
Glorified
Lifted high
In our worship

That’s in spirit and in truth –
In gratitude.
God, we love you
In our worship.

Lord, Your blood paid the price –
The only acceptable sacrifice.
Death would no longer prevail.
You tore apart the veil.

And when You arose the third day,
Our sinful past was put away.
A new life for us You did give
To forever love and forgive.

God we want to see You
Magnified
Glorified
Lifted high
In our worship

That’s in spirit and in truth –
In gratitude.
Lord we love you

You are worthy of all our worship!

There’s a song in every heart
With words of joy and praise,
And the music to this song
Is composed by God’s grace.

Before this song is played;
Before this song is sung;
You must come to know
God’s only begotten Son.

He looks beyond your sin,
And sees what He first made.
So He went to the cross
To wash those sins away.

For God looks forward,
And God sees hope.
He no longer thinks
Of your sins paid for.

So lift your hands,
And sing your song.
Praise the name
Of the Lord your God!

Imagine the forgiveness –
No more guilt, no more shame.
You are freed from the past –
A new life lived in grace.

So reach out to His hands
With holes in them for you.
And follow in His steps
For He leads in all truth.

He will not let you go.
He will not leave your side.
When you sing your song,
Jesus will be glorified.

For God looks forward,
And God sees hope.
He no longer thinks
Of your sins paid for.
