A Rallying Cry
Brothers and sisters in Christ –
We’re a family by choice.
Will we come together
And all speak in one voice?
Jesus is the Son of God,
And He came to this world –
Conceived of the Holy Spirit
Born by a virgin girl.
He came to reconcile.
He paid the highest price.
For our sins to be forgiven
He was our sacrifice.
So brothers and sisters
Let’s come in one accord
Shout Jesus is the Savior
And our sovereign Lord!
He is alive today
And intercedes for us
Let us give thanks and praise
To our great King Jesus!
Brothers and sisters in Christ
On this we can agree.
We are all saved by grace
For we chose to believe.
We are new creations –
Old lives are in the past.
Hope is in our future
For God’s promises last.
So let’s come together
And share God’s great love –
Showing mercy and grace
The way He did for us.
So brothers and sisters
Let’s come in one accord –
Shout Jesus is the Savior
And our sovereign Lord!
He is alive today
And intercedes for us.
Let us give thanks and praise
To our great King Jesus!
In Our Worship
When we gaze upon the cross,
We see an amazing God
Who looked at what He made
In mercy, love, and grace.
You grieved over all our sin
And didn’t choose to condemn.
Judgment that must be done –
You placed on Your beloved Son.
God we want to see You
Magnified
Glorified
Lifted high
In our worship
That’s in spirit and in truth –
In gratitude.
God, we love you
In our worship.
Lord, Your blood paid the price –
The only acceptable sacrifice.
Death would no longer prevail.
You tore apart the veil.
And when You arose the third day,
Our sinful past was put away.
A new life for us You did give
To forever love and forgive.
God we want to see You
Magnified
Glorified
Lifted high
In our worship
That’s in spirit and in truth –
In gratitude.
Lord we love you
In our worship.
You are worthy of all our worship!
The Believer’s Song
There’s a song in every heart
With words of joy and praise,
And the music to this song
Is composed by God’s grace.
Before this song is played;
Before this song is sung;
You must come to know
God’s only begotten Son.
He looks beyond your sin,
And sees what He first made.
So He went to the cross
To wash those sins away.
For God looks forward,
And God sees hope.
He no longer thinks
Of your sins paid for.
So lift your hands,
And sing your song.
Praise the name
Of the Lord your God!
Imagine the forgiveness –
No more guilt, no more shame.
You are freed from the past –
A new life lived in grace.
So reach out to His hands
With holes in them for you.
And follow in His steps
For He leads in all truth.
He will not let you go.
He will not leave your side.
When you sing your song,
Jesus will be glorified.
For God looks forward,
And God sees hope.
He no longer thinks
Of your sins paid for.
So lift your hands,
And sing your song.
Praise the name
Of the Lord your God!
What God Says
I heard a voice
That speaks to me.
Is it friend or foe?
Should I believe?
What it says
About my faith –
Am I saved
Alone by grace?
If the voice says,
It’s not enough.
You must do more
To earn God’s love.
Then I’ll know
This voice I heard
Is an enemy
To God’s holy Word.
For what God says
Is faithful and true.
He does not change
And can’t lie to you.
He stands by His Word –
Never leaves your side.
Oh praise the Lord!
May He be magnified!
So when that voice
Speaks to me,
“You are My child
For you believe.”
“In My only Son
Whose sacrifice
For all your sins
He paid the price.”
“He lives today
And intercedes for you
Against that voice
That accuses you.”
“Of all your sins –
The wrongs you’ve done.
They’re all forgiven
Through Jesus’ blood.”
For what God says
Is faithful and true.
He does not change
And can’t lie to you.
He stands by His Word –
Never leaves your side.
Oh praise the Lord!
May He be magnified!
What God Has Done
For six days God created all things.
Then He looked upon it all and said it was good.
There was no sin; everything was at peace.
He provided for all of creation’s needs.
He told Adam to eat whatever he wanted
But not from one particular tree.
For if he did he would surely die.
This was the truth because God can’t lie.
God came down in the cool of the day
To love on the humans He had wonderfully made.
But they had sinned and were hiding in shame –
With no repentance but looking to blame.
God was saddened for He needed to judge.
For with no judgment on sin He can’t be right.
Their souls were dead indeed
Out of the garden – they were forced to leave.
But that wasn’t the end of God’s love.
He still loved what He created by His hands.
Despite all of this sin man had done,
God would send His only begotten Son.
He’d be born of the virgin Mary
For He had to be the unblemished lamb.
He would live a life committing no sin,
And preach the coming of His Kingdom.
He went to die on the cross wrongfully accused.
It wasn’t His sentence – it was yours and mine.
What were His final words for me and for you?
“Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”
Condemnation and judgment that was meant for us –
God put on His son, His beloved Jesus.
The Father accepted His Son’s holy sacrifice.
He raised Him from the dead – Jesus is alive!
He lives to this day for you and for me
Through His Spirit encouraging all to believe.
If we believe, we can be saved.
Our souls resurrected from eternity’s grave.
So we sing, sing to Jesus the King!
The possession of our souls He fully redeemed.
Yes we sing, sing to Jesus the King!
All praise and all honor we gratefully bring.
True Love
Father, I come
To give You thanks
For all Your mercy;
For all Your grace.
I’m overwhelmed
By all You’ve done.
Starting with the gift
Of Your only Son.
Who took my place
On that rugged cross.
To show true love
Comes at a cost.
When He arose
On that 3rd day,
Forgiveness’ price
Was fully paid.
My sins of the past;
My sins of the ‘morrow
Are washed away
As is the sorrow.
Your glorious plan
Doesn’t stop there.
New life is born
And it’s one to share.
To walk with You
In every step of life.
To seek the truth
And leave the lies behind.
Then life’s journey
Is to take my cross
To follow You
And love the lost.
Holy Spirit come
And give me strength.
Soften my heart
And build my faith.
To see the world
Through Your eyes –
Not to judge
But to give hope in life.
By leading them
To that rugged cross;
To show true love
Comes at a cost.
To My Hurt Child
My beloved child,
I miss our talks.
You may have stopped praying,
But I still know your thoughts.
You need to know
I felt all the pain
Of all the betrayals and lies
That drove you away.
But that wasn’t Me.
They weren’t My choices.
Denial of My goodness and love
Are deceits from Hell’s voices.
What are you chasing?
Do you think it will last?
The fun of this world is quick,
But then it disappears just as fast.
Expectations are heavy.
Satan’s paths have deadly ends.
If you’ll return to My open arms.
Your heart I will start to mend.
My door is always open.
Will you choose to knock?
I can rid you of the uncertainty.
I can be your rock.
Is this what you want?
For it is My heart’s desire.
To revive your trust and love,
And to light in you a holy fire.
I know My children are flawed,
But I still love them the same.
You may call them hypocrites,
But My love for them doesn’t change.
I made you to love Me
And to love others just as well.
I can tear down your walls.
It will be our victory to tell.
So until you return to Me,
I will never leave your side.
Even in your darkness
I will be your light.
For I remember the day
You confessed My name.
Oh, how all the angels sang
When you entered My book of life.
You’re still on that page,
And I’m waiting for the day
To hear you once again say
I’m the way, the truth, and the life.

You Are There
Too many times I missed it.
So many times I was blind.
Storms swirling around me
May have been by design.
Pain and fear fought the fight
Of who would take the lead.
What I thought was really true
Kept me from belief.
I never heard Your voice.
I didn’t think You cared.
I couldn’t see the proof
That You were ever there.
One night in the darkness
As the walls were closing in,
Memories flashed before me
Of moments that have been
Times when I felt alone –
I thought that was the case.
A light shined on the scene,
And I thought I saw a face.
The eyes glowed with warmth
With grace and love to share.
I guess I wasn’t ever alone.
Turns out You were really there.
The memories kept coming,
And the stories began to change.
Purpose rose from the ashes
From the suffering and the pain.
The memories that hurt so much
I didn’t know what to do.
You helped me to understand
That I should have turned to You.
Forgive me for buying the lie
That You never cared.
For Your Word promised me
That You were always there.
How could I wonder if You cared
When I gaze upon the cross?
It was by Your precious blood
That my salvation was bought.
Strengthen my resolve for truth
And reveal the enemy’s lies.
Help me see through the pain
So I will no longer deny
Your resurrection power.
That is my sincerest prayer.
There is always hope and life
For You are always there.
